Mon objectif est de souligner l'importance de préserver la faune sauvage et ses écosystèmes, car ils jouent un rôle crucial dans le bien-être général de notre planète. À travers mon art, je souhaite inspirer les autres à agir et à avoir un impact positif, même si leurs contributions semblent minuscules.
Cette oeuvre fait partie de mon exposition solo intitulée "RESPECT, Vie Sauvage Nordique", que j'ai dévoilé en mettant en 2022. Dans le but de souligner l'importance de ces animaux, j’ai créé chaque oeuvre comme si chacun posait pour un portrait intemporel. Mon solo comprenait plus d'une douzaine de creations en peinture (acrylique, aquarelle, huile et digitale) représentant l'espèces sauvages de l'Amérique du Nord. Ce thème résonne profondément en moi et continue d'inspirer de nouvelles créations dans mon atelier.
L'orignal est le plus gros animal de la famille des cervidés. Il est couramment chassé au Canada et abondant dans certaines provinces, mais en voie de disparition dans d'autres, comme la Nouvelle-Écosse. Mais même à l'intérieur des provinces, comme le Québec, certaines régions ont perdu un nombre croissant d'orignaux au fil des ans, et une telle baisse est alarmante. La préservation des terres est cruciale pour le maintien de nombreuses espèces, dont l'orignal.

NORTH AMERICA WILDLIFE SERIES

My goal is to highlight the importance of preserving wildlife species and their ecosystems, as they play a crucial role in the overall well-being of our planet. Through my art, I aim to inspire others to take action and make a positive impact, no matter how small their contributions may seem.
This artwork is part of my solo exhibition titled "RESPECT, Nordic Wildlife", which I unveiled in 2022. In order to emphasize the importance of these animals, I created each piece as if they were posing for a timeless portrait. My solo exhibition consisted of over a dozen paintings (acrylic, watercolor, oil, and digital) representing the wild species of North America. This theme resonates deeply with me and continues to inspire new creations in my studio.
The moose is the largest animal in the deer family. It is still commonly hunted in Canada and abundant in some provinces but endangered in others, such as Nova Scotia. But even within provinces, such as Quebec, certain regions have lost a growing number of mooses over the years, and such a decline is alarming. Land preservation is crucial for maintaining many species, including moose.
